Subject: The admonition of Paul

Welcome to LDS-YES!

"Indeed we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul, We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, of good report, or praiseworthy, we seek after these things." -
From the Thirteenth Article of Faith.

Having just visited another discussion site among the Voy forums that advanced the idea that Paul was anti-Christ, I responded to his ideas with my humble opinion. My desire is to keep the thought and trend of this forum on the noble and worthwhile. I believe in Christ. He is God's son. He came to atone for the sins of mankind and make it possible for man to overcome death and return to God. Among those whom he wrought his marvelous miracle of change was Saul. When he became Paul he became a true follower and defender of the faith. Anything said to the contrary, he is an example of honesty, truth, chastity, and virtue.

When we hearken to the lies and half-truths of those who bash the true prophets, we can become confused and disuaded from the truth. The measure of true religion is in the end result. Where virtue, trust, honesty, and charity are the standard and not the exception, there is a person who allows the Spirit of Christ to manifest itself through that individual. I have a testimony of Christ. I also have faith and believe in the testimony of Paul. His authority may not be clearly stated chapter and verse, but his message bears the scrutiny of those search for truth takes them to the law and to the testimony. "Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me." John 5:39
