Erg appears to be starting a run, could it go as high as 0.93 cents and hold or is it just riding on the nasdaq ???

I really think once erg proves it income stream you will see this share will above the $2 mark. This may take 6 to 12 months. I have a lot of money in it now. Brought in at the end of the rights issue

Sorry seanmorr,
the price should have been 0.99 cents, not 93, this amount being the true value per share.

Would anyone be able to help me out on fundamentals?
Before the acqisition of Proton--Investrweb report gave the net asset backing per share at 39c---I understand that with the purchase of Proton that fits in with ERG's growth plans (Investorweb--gives a growth rate of around 150% for 2002) nevertheless the business at this stage I believe is loss making (not a worry in my view for it is the growth and you are making money elsewhere to subsidise it anyway)---to cut along story short and to stop waffling--what would be the net asset backing per share now? Would anyone know?
Your assistance would be appreciated.
Cheers,--Bonkers.

Hmmm... the acquisition of Proton World is to be funded by a renounceable rights issue (ERGR-4/12/01) of 3 (@$0.50 each) for every 10 shares held.

ERGR opened @$0.10 but have eased to $0.029 today suggesting the market wants to pencil in about $0.53 for underlying scrip.

Accordingly, can't see any change to NTA which I also have as $0.39.

The P/E of 20.4 is a tad high but reflects lower earnings/revenue 2001 due to sale of telecom interests and should improve 2002.

I reported here earlier this week that major support @$0.50 and retracement needs to break resistence @$0.58 to firm beyond this and to next level @$0.66.

Underdog status deserves a HOLD for the faithful who will be rewarded if they live long enough...

This is only my view .. read the red stuff.

Cheers, people the info was very helpful, the net asset backing per share stays the same at 39c at Stockhouse, therefore when they said it had increased this was wrong.
Below is a piece out of my daily morning meeting notes dated the 24/8/2001 this was before the German company that ERG have part ownership in secured the contract that they won. J.P. Morgan met with ERG and then later from that meeting gave them a spec buy with a valuation through time of 1.22---the important thing to consider is that J.P. put great emphasis on the importance of German licence fee's, since that was stated ofcourse--the company over in Germany won the contract, the importance of it cannot be stressed enough, for this is where the inclusion of 31 million dollars into ERG's profit will be included if ERG can demonstrate to the auditors that the business in Germany is maturing, the reason it was discounted at the last profit report was that the auditors said the business was still nascent--that is not the case now.
From the email shareholders send out list ERG state the following: (I have not altered the words in any way)

We will continue
discussions with our auditors in order to assess whether this transaction will

be booked in the current financial year. As we have stated on previous
occasions, the revenue has not been lost or disallowed,
but deferred
until future events allow its
recognition.

Morning Meeting notes.
The below is an opinion from a broker they may be wrong they may be right--other brokers would have other opinions--if you have another broker--be interested in what they say too.
---------------------
24/8/2001
The below Morning Meeting notes translated into my own words so I haven't breached copyright.
They have finalised FY02 and 3 estimates--they retain buy rec a number of positives came out of a meeting with management--research and development has peaked--management expect to get in net cash flow between 150 million and 200 million financial year 2002---in the cuurent enviroment they are saying the share price is unlikely to get a significant boost (re Wall Street)--they have downgraded profits for FY2 to 39.9 million and for FY3 to 48.5 mill (down 12%)--they like the recurring revenues and say the company basically looks good over the longer term--a mention is made of the importance of German licences.
Cheers,--BK.
