ERG Group is pleased to announce that Mr Rob Noble, currently Chief
Executive Officer of Creative Star, Hong Kong, has been appointed the
Group's Managing Director for the Asia Pacific Region, with effect
from 1 January 2002.

Mr Noble has extensive experience in the transit and smart card
industries, Prior to taking on the role of Chief Executive Officer of
Creative Star, Mr Noble was Marketing and Planning Director of Hong
Kong's MTRC - the operator of Hong Kong's underground railway.

He oversaw the formation of Creative Star and the implementation of
the project that rolled out the world's most advanced integrated
smart card system in Hong Kong.

In his role as Managing Director, Asia Pacific of the ERG Group, Mr
Noble will be based in Sydney, Australia and oversee all ERG Group
operations in Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
