You have TOTALLY missed the issue - the problems your going on about have to do with Colonial Stadium, ie the ticketing arrangments! The AFL, most clubs and fans alike are frustrating, it has nothing to do with the club!
If you must know, the reason Essendon are pissed off here is that we were guaranteed 10,000 seats for members for our away games there, which would be available 2 weeks before the game. However, CS did not issue these tix untill Tuesday - members were calling last week for tickets, but couldnt get them, It wasnt Essendons or any clubs fault - it was CS's fault!
As a result, members are pissed off, and not going - if you noticed, all crowds there seem to be down - its not only Essendon fans who are pissed off!
Your trying to pass this off as an Essendon being Greedy issue, and its a fuckin lame attempt! Just as lame as Mick Malthouse trying to stir up the boys for last weeks game on comments Plough said a few months ago!
Collingwood = Lame!
PS - Coll v Foot wasnt sold out, it was reported to have been, but it wasnt.
