Subject: Who the hell do we think we are?

Hey everybody - Man oh man. We're really sorry to have confused everybody. We have decided to drop the good ole' "Daydream" from our name.
Though there were several factors that led us to this, it basically came down to the fact that none of us really liked it. At the same time, we didn't want to be starting from scratch with a completely new name. So to us it just made sense to shorten it to Candid, which we all like much better (and it seems like most people have refered to us by that name for a long time anyway). I want to make it clear to everybody that this does not mark any kind of big change in the band, and nothing has really changed except it's now easier for me to tell somebody my band's name when I'm shitfaced at a loud bar. Of course, none of this would have been confusing if we were more organized and changed over the website as well - I'm an idiot. But soon Joe and I are going to get together and put the new site together, and everything should switch over pretty smoothly. We're sorry to those of you that may hate our guts now, but if it makes you feel any better, let me reiterate that this is nothing more than a word that us four didn't really dig. Nothing else changes - you'll still get the mediocre singing and mindless rock songs you've come to love! A flyer idea for the CD release party that ultimately got rejected - "New name. Same lousy music." You get the idea. Thanks again for listening ~Cor
