on fire FO SHO!!!!... that jam was so awesome. im very happy and proud to see you guys connect on an improvisational level like that and "just let it happen." that is the true essence of a band... allowing the music that comes forth as a group creation to manifest itself in the medium that decides to poke its head out at that moment... you guys successfully carried that jam in an unprecedented direction and if there was ever a thing that got those lame ass danceless 16 yr olds movin for a few minutes of the show it was that booty shakin jam. i have a hard time believin that that kind of musical exploration of your own music doesnt happen alot in practice, carry the music that u guys create into the live scene and share it with all. i think u will find the response to be just as big and growing if this trend continues and/or grows. plenty of your songs leave room for exploration, even if just for a minute... especially songs from the old habits that u have never explored the potential of... the explorations dont have to be more than a minute or 2 and dont always have to be funky either... halogen would be a great vehicle for this maybe... i dont know... just be candid all the time. not just in practice.
