Subject: Bleachers

There's nothing like a good Candid show that brings life to a usually listless music scene in the salt city. However, after going to Bleachers on Saturday night, I have to say I am dissappointed......

But before I get strung up by the Candid faithful, it was not the band that dissappointed me. It wasn't new material, it wasn't the people at the show......it was the venue.

Bleacher's is not meant to house a band of Candid's caliber and drawing power. Not that there seems to be any alternatives in Syracuse, unless we all start rocking bullet proof vests and revisit the returned to ghetto-ness Bridge Street Music Hall. So, Bleacher's aside, are there any other alternative venues in the Syracuse area?

Or is the band satisfied with Bleachers?

Just wanted to see where everything was going, because I know that I will not see a show again at Bleachers. If I need to get my Candid fix, I'd rather make the drive to NYC and catch them at CBGB's or go to Rochester and catch them there....at least I can be promised I can see the band from wherever I am sitting......
