Hey y'all it's Corey from the band. Thanks for the interest. As a matter of fact, the song got it's name from that same bridge. I go to school in Rochester, and because I'm always going back and forth between there and Syracuse, I drive under that overpass three or four times a week. I always thought it would make a cool song title, but never really could find a way to make it "fit." The main idea of the song is the way we all interact with people that we really don't know too well, but still act as though we're old friends (i.e. "...Let's remember all these things that never happened..."). So at it's heart it's a song about BS and how we all just kind of deal with it and even enjoy it. Being a song about BS, I figured that instead of something more obvious, a BS title would fit perfectly. I guess it's a little joke at the listener's expense (no hard feelings?). I wanted "Stone Church Road" to create interest as to what meaning the title might have, when in fact it's just BS - The same kind that the lyrics talk about. Hope that helps. If it doesn't make sense, let me know - I don't get much sleep.
