Subject: Syracuse Music Managers Association

I must say, how many bands in syracuse ever make it big? I can only think of one and thats Earth Crisis and they haven't even made it "big", we just use that for lack of better terms.

Maybe this has something to do with the people who are managing our local bnads. No offense to the CDD or their management, but they could be doing a much better job. I know that Jim Beam is going to help them out by getting them gigs outside of Syracuse, but shouldn't the manager be doing that?

Also, just some constructive criticism for the sound guy...the sound at Armory High sucks and it has always sucked. Turn the FOH(Front of House) volume down so we can hear the instruments and vocals and appreciate the talent of the musicians. I just can't stand all that distortion. Turn it down a little. They are a rock band, not a heavy metal act.

This is just my $0.02, I hope I didn't offend anyone. I really dig the new album and the old album... keep on keepin on.
