I arrive at Pine Hollow Stables. I say hello to the saddle club (stevie, carole and Lisa) in the tack room where I collected Teddy's lead rope and halter. I then go out into the paddocks. I go into Teddy's Paddock and I whistle loudley. Teddy comes cantering towards me. I tell him I forgot the treats and he snorts. I put the halter and lead rope on Teddy and I open the gate. I shut it behind Teddy and I lead him back up to the stables. I put him in his stall and I unclip the lead rope. I shut the stall door and I go into the tack room. I put the lead rope on the hook and I get Teddy's brushes, hoof pick, saddle and his bridle. I ask Stevie if she could carry my helmet. I open Teddy's stall door and I lay the stuff I had in my hands in the corner of the stall. Stevie and I begin to groom Teddy. He had been rolling alot. I get the hard brush and I brush him with that. The mud comes off. I brush Teddy's tail while Stevie brushes his mane. I put the brushes in the bag and I shut the brush bag. Then Veronica hears me and Stevie talking. She butts in and wants to ride with me. I said its alright. She begs me and begs so I say ok. I tack Teddy up quickly and Veronica gets Carole to tack Cobalt up. I lead Teddy by the reins out of the stall. I thank Stevie then she walks away. I think she did that because of Veronica. I say Hi to Max and Red as they walk passed. I touched the lucky horse shoe then I headed to the outdoor ring. I mount Teddy there. Veronica said arnt we going for a trail ride. I said I perfer to do some jump work with Teddy. I warm Teddy up then I take him ovr some 3ft high jumps. When I look over to see who Veronica was talking to I saw Max. He said I look great on Teddy jumping. I thanked him and did the course one more time. Veronica didnt notice me exiting the ring. I then cantered towards the trails. I then galloped Teddy through the trails. I soon walked Teddy, then I heard hooves running coming towards me. I was hoping it wasnt Veronica. I turned around and it was the Saddle Club. I then sat relaxed. We all rode together through the trails.
When we arrived back at Pine Hollow Stables Veronica asked where I had been. I told her that I went on a trail ride. She said she had been looking for me. I then said well I said I was going on a trail ride. Veronica smiled and said thats alright. I put Teddy in his stall and I untacked him. I then groomed him. I cleaned out his feet and I painted them. I give him hay and water then I put my stuff away. I asked Veronica if she would clean my tack. She said oh sure Phil I'll do anything for you. Stevie gave Veronica a mean sorta look as if meaning Phils mine. I smiled. Veronica turned and made a grin. The saddle club and I turned our heads and laughed. We go to the locker room and get changed then we sit back an enjoy our sodas. Later on Veronica walked in looking grumpy. She didnt see us. She said her hands felt yuk and sore to herself. We giggled then Veronica found out that we were there and said Oh hi phil. I cleaned your tack. The saddle club glued at Veronica then left. I then walked out with them leaving veronica by herself. Then Stevie said well she really loves you to clean your tack for you. Yeah I said now maybe she wont hang around me so much. We all laughed then went to the ice cream parlor.
