I jus saw the movie yesterday (I thought it was GREAT!)... Are the mind-tricks in question the thing where Jedi say something, and the other repeats it and follows it (eg - Obi Wan? and that other guy at the bar)? I'm not up to the named know-how of Star Wars... But if that's so, didn't Anakin say something about it to Amidala (in the field, she asked him if he'd do any of the Jedi mind-tricks on her (or something) and he answered it only worked on people with weak minds)... Anywho, I'm not sure, that just seemed related so I said it.

And what the heck was that creature hired by the bounty hunter to kill Amidala? Obi Wan? said it was something, waaay too fast for me to catch, and well... I thought one of you peeps would know...
