Ah yes, the one with the beard... Was he played by Ewan McGregor, by any chance? I'm not sure who the actor was, but I'm now sure who Obi Wan was...

And about that assassin-critter - she did seem to change appearance, I believe, unless the transformation back into that odd-looking alienoid thing was a nasty side effect of that dart she got killed with...
