I've had quite a few people confused when they first join, so I am working on a info page for you to look over before you join..But I'll do a quick write-up for you here.
Venhydra is where the lost humans orignially landed, they built the colony, formed a government (United Federation)... Some rebels thought the Federation was a bit too overbearing and broke off and built their own colony and government (Planetary Alliance) on Tanari.
Another name for the Alliance is the Rebels, because they are rebels of the original government. So now the two colonies are at war..
Tanari Hall had been bombed by the Feds.... Recently, the Rebels mangaged to get onto Venhydra and take over the complex, but the Feds came back unexepectedly.. (actually for a while there were NO federation players so it was as if the planet was abandoned.. luckily there are players now)
So...now the Rebels are escaping with their president who the Feds had taken prisoner and are returning to Tanari. The Feds are cleaning up the Hall... (kinda a sub-plot, but a wolf got in and started killing feds...) For a while, I was playing Fed members in bulk.. (playing a group of soldiers to get people active) Now there are people actually playing Feds.. I don't know what their plans are for the moment.
On Tanari, new Rebels have arrived.. and thats about it..
