Shayla watched Wuth walk away. ‘Oh no, what did I just do.’ She bent down and picked up his bandana. “Wuth.” Shinto put a hand on her shoulder. She turned to him, on the verge of tears. “God, this is bad. I care about him, but I was just so happy to see you, and and now I think that I might have messed up very badly.” “Don’t worry things can always be fixed.” She wiped irritated at her eyes, “Oh no oh no oh no,” she stepped forward, “Shinto can I ask you a big favor. Really big.” Shinto nodded slowly, “Can you find out where he is. You’re a much better tracker than I am, and your sure as hell a lot quieter.” Shinto nodded, “I’ll see what I can do, where should I meet you later.” “ummmmm,” Shayla bit her lip, “I’m staying at a little motel just down the street, oh god I cant remember the name, well its room 34.” Shinto nodded before taking off in the direction that Wuth had left. Shayla gripped the bandana tighter, “This is not good, not good at all.”

Shayla walked to the corner of the room before turning and coming back. She had been pacing for the last two hours. After she got home from sending Shinto after Wuth she had done everything to keep her mind off it. She took a shower, went to the bar across the street, played a game of pool, but she ended up back in her room pacing. “I shouldn’t have done that. But wait he called me someone else. I mean we spent a few days together that’s it. But he’s nice. Ok not the average guy, but he has a depth I like. He mysterious and can be sweet. But I kissed Shinto, I like Shinto,” She shook her head, “I have to find Wuth. I have to.” The door opened and Shayla practically pounced on Shinto. His face was grave and it sent Shayla right to the floor. She brought her knees up to her chest, “what?” Shinto kneeled down, “He went to the syndicate. It didn’t look like he was coming back either.”
Shayla’s eyes hardened, and she stood up. “Where are they?” “Well just pasted the lake (er once, whatever it is)” Shayla nodded and walked to the table. Her knife were set up nicely in a row, she had taken them off when she attempt a nap, which didn’t happen. She started putting them in place. She slide off her shirt placing the ones on her ribs. Shinto blush and turn around, “What are you doing?” “Putting my knifes on what it looks like.” Shinto shook his head, “Well I knew that but wha…hey!” He jumped when Shayla put her hand in his pocket. “You got any of those little balls. The ones that explode?” Shinto nodded and handed some to her, “What you need them for?” She ignored his question and walked over to her bed. Over the last few days she had a cumulated quite a few guns. Six laid out nicely on her bed. She grabbed one and tucked in behind her. Sliding on two holsters, she put a gun by either side and slid on a coat. She grabbed the others and placed them in different spots.
Shinto who had been watching her finally realized what she indented to do. “You are not going there. You’d be dead before you even knew what hit you.” Shayla walked up to him and wrapped him in a hug. “Shinto, I have to do this. Don’t worry about me, I know how to fight. It wouldn’t matter anyway, I’m not afraid of death anymore.” She let him go and looked him strait in the eyes. She leaned forward and pressed her lips to his. “A kiss for the angel of death…..a blessing or a curse? Perhaps a sign of things to come.” With that Shayla left, closing the door softly behind her.
