 'Geez, is everybody a killer?' Mirino asks herself. She sits quietly doing nothing for a couple minutes. The steam stopped rising from her oamlet. Nick waves his hand infront of her eyes.
"Hello?"
'That will be one of the crowds I don't join.' she states in thought.
"Oh man. She's in a trance." Nick says in an annoyed voice.
'I won't ever take someone's life.' Still sitting in the same spot. Nick raises his hand.
"Check please."
'Time to eat.' She grabs her silverware and starts on the bacon.
"Where were you just then?" She looks at him with a full mouth and another piece of bacon on the way. "Oh, right, sorry." The waitor placed the bill on the table. Mirino swallows her milk with atmost speed. Nick pulls out his wallet and counts bills.
After she finishes the rest of her plate, she silently belches behind her hand. And quickly responds with her innocent schoolgirl smile. 'How lady-like.' Her conscience says mocking her. Mirino scratches the back of her head.
"Were we supposed to meet someone?"
