Belinda gritted her teeth lightly in irritation at the insuation that she would be anything besides straight. But nothing could compete with the irritation and frustration she felt at the use of the nickname 'Gunslinger'.

"Feh." Belinda shrugged. "What makes you think I'd lie to you, and what makes you think that you have any reason to ask me what just happened. No offense, Kori, but I guess I was wrong to think that you had more sense than that. After all, it would be very foolish for you to assume that I'd lie to your... or that I'd trust you either."

Belinda looked the woman straight in the eyes, her face expressionless.

"If you are who I think you are, it makes no difference what I say. If you are like many of the others, the only thing that speaks to you over the sound of a gun is the sound of money in your pockets. What do bounty hunter's care of the truth?" She let out a light chuckle. "Am I to believe that there are bounty hunters out there who would put others over their own self-interest? I find it hard to accept, based on past experiences. Pardon me for being sceptical, Ms. Kori, but it is hard to break the force of habit."

She crossed her arms and leaned against the wall, still watching the woman carefully, trying to judge her exact motives.

"And also, I must say that I am insulted that you would make an insinuation about my sexual preference when you do not know me. I must say that I did my best not to judge you by your appearances or so forth."

Belinda brushed some strands of hair from her eyes calmly, not taking her gaze from Kori, or the woman's side-arm either.

"I find this whole beating about the bush thing to be quite tiring, Ms. Kori... so would you mind getting to the point and just telling me what you want from me? I have places to be and things to do... and I really don't like to waste my time on un-needed drivel. So if you have something important to say... say it and get it over with."

(Just as I suspected... this one's bound to be trouble. If she starts in on me... it will be even difficult to find information on Asharde with too many bounty hunters on my tail... still... I can't hurt anyone... it would do nothing for my record... why do things have to be so difficult?)
