 Shayla pulled at her soaking pants. “This is so not cool. I don’t even know what I sat in.” Charlie looked at her, “You were sitting in city waste.” “Gross!” She yelled wiping her hands on Shinto’s shirt. “Hey!” he said moving out of arms reach. “You two are very load.” Charlie hissed. “Yeah well sorry. We’re not really the quite hunting for rats for dinner type of people.” Shinto glared at her, “Don’t be so rude.” She shrugged. “ I didn’t think I wa……” She stopped and stared at the sight before them. There was a large city with houses and every thing. There were people walking around, going about their lives as……..rat people. “Whoa.” She said looking at the city. Shinto smiled, “Ha, see. Told you.” She pushed him. “yeah, yeah. Whatever.” Charlie looked at them. “I will lead you to a hut to get change.” Shinto nodded and smile. Shayla looked around once more and followed.
Shayla stepped out of the room she was told to change in. She was now wearing a gray faded turtleneck and pants that had a few patches on them. “Well its better than my other pants.” She looked over at Shinto. He was sitting at the table eating. “How unexpected.” She said sitting next to him. “Happy now your not in your waste pants.” He asked smiling. She glared at him. “Your evil you know that. So rat man when do you show us the way home.” Charlie looked at her. “First we eat and then we’ll go.” Shayla nodded, “Ok. So, Shinto you said you do business with these people. Do you think I can find some new weapons and ammo. Seeing we’re here an all, might as well make use of it.” She grinned.
