This was devolped by Chrissy not me. I have been trying to contact her to play a Flaris but can't reach her. So I began with Kiesha and placed her as a Seer. If anyone has a problem with this please inform me thank you. If you need to know I have not played dragons before but I can give my charries if you need to know them.

Flaris
Body Type:
The Flaris are very large and muscular, but they are still built fairly slim in order to obtain great speed and agility. Their size dominates almost all other breeds’ for both sex’s. Also, both male and female have long, slender necks, but the females’ have rather delicate looking heads while the males’ have stronger and more stubborn looking heads. However, both sex’s look very regal and frightfully intimidating.
Body Color:
Flaris have bodies just like any other dragon, though they do not have scales, but a tough almost steel like hide. However, all Flaris always have flames ‘dancing’ on their hides, almost completely disguising and hiding the actual skin and making it seem as though they are actually made of flames. The flames come in several different color combinations. The main color, or PRIMARY COLOR, is the main color of the flames as well as the color of their hide. The HIGHLIGHT COLOR is found within the PRIMARY COLOR doing exactly as its name says and creating highlights of color. The following table shows which colors can be found together.

Eye Color:
The eye color of each Flaris matches exactly to their HIGHLIGHT COLOR and they have a slitted pupil. The only time that it is any different is for the Seers’. Their eyes are a glowing white and are pupiless.
Talon Substances:
Talon substance is always some type of precious jewel. However, the jewels’ are not tied to a certain color variety, so their can be an abundance of combinations as long as they talons on each dragon match on every foot. The following list of jewels’ can be found as a talon substance.
- Sapphire
- Topaz
- Diamond
- Emerald
- Peridot
- Amethyst
- Ruby
Wings:
The wings of a Flaris are very large, longer than their body and tail put together. They are 5 digit and are built the exact same way as the body. They are scales, but have the steel hard hide and the flames. At the tip of each digit (there are 5 on each wing), there is a long, curved spike always made of the same jewel as their talons are.
Unique Markings:
No markings can really be seen on a Flaris because of their strange hide. Even scars are not visible. However, besides the spikes on their wings, they do carry one other special trait. Each Flaris has a flame-shaped jewel on their forehead. The type of this jewel determines their rank in society. The jewels’ and the rank they connect with are listed below. Seers’ and Royalty are the only ones’ capable of telepathy. If they have telepathic abilities, silver swirls can be seen within the jewels’ from the dragon’s birth. There are also three ranks of Warrior, therefore there are three types of jewels’. They are all born with the Level 1 jewel and as they progress, their jewel will change to fit their new rank.
RANK = JEWEL
Royalty = Diamond
Seer = Emerald
Healer = Sapphire
Warrior = Level 1 - Topaz
Level 2 - Amethyst
Level 3 - Ruby
Age:
The oldest recorded Flaris was 627 years old. It is assumed that they can live well past this age given the chance, but most die in battle long before their lives have been lived. They are warriors’, so this type of death is natural to them, though it does prevent them from knowing exactly how long one of their breed can actually survive without war.
Powers:
All Flaris have the ability to control anything to do with fire, for it is not only their element, it is part of what their bodies are made of and what keeps them alive. However, this power starts out small and grows over time as they train and practice. As mentioned before, telekinesis can be obtained but only by those of Royal blood, or those born as Seers’. The power of telekinesis is represented by silver swirls within the jewel upon their forehead.
Weaknesses:
Flaris cannot stand water. They do not need it to survive and are extremely wary of it, for water kills these dragons’ very easily. If even a rather small portion were to get onto their bodies, the flames on their hide would being to turn to smoke. When the flames on a Flaris die out, so does the Flaris. Once half of their body has gone into this smok-like state, there is no way to save them. However, if another Flaris (either a Seer, Healer, or Level 3 Warrior) can be found in time, they can combined their own bodies with that of the injured one. Upon doing this, they become one dragon with two personalities, but this only lasts for a short time usually extending no more than a week or two. The stronger has the most control while the weaker dragon can be protected by it while it heals. Once the injured dragon is strong enough, the single body separates back into the two dragons.
Ice and snow are also a threat to these dragons’ well being for they are both nothing more than frozen water. Flaris can die just as easily coming in contact with snow as they can water because it melts so fast when it touches them, being as it is not a very condensed form of water. While Flaris do not usually die from coming in contact with ice, it can weaken them to an extreme extent.
Strengths:
Rather obvious is the fact that Flaris are immune to fire attacks and that an attack made on them using any form of fire can actually strengthen them. It adds to their power already held within their flame-covered bodies, giving them a very large advantage over their enemy. In conclusion, fire cannot harm or kill a Flaris in any way.
The Flaris are also very fast and agile in the air. Their wings are very large to propel their huge bodies in any way they need. Also, their bodies may be very large and muscular, but slim in build so that they can maneuver easily in the air doing twists and turns as need be.
Personality:
The personality of the Flaris is not all that complex. You will rarely find a Flaris on the Light side, for after a very short time, they simply go insane. You can sometimes find a few that are Neutral, but at heart they are cold-blooded, vicious killers. That is why they can’t stand to be Light. They merely go insane with the calling in their blood to kill and they eventually destroy themselves. Because of this, you can always find a never-ending abundance of Flaris on the Dark side.
Flaris thrive on chaos and destruction, and are often seen to follow wherever it goes. They wish for nothing more than the taste of their enemies blood on their lips. They are quick to their fiery tempers, wanting any excuse at all to start a fight. They despise most other dragons’ that are not of their own kind, though they will stand most Dark’s and have respect towards any ‘fire brothers’.
Breeding:
Flaris are strictly forbidden by ancient laws to breed with any not of their own race. The Flaris wish to keep their lines pure and free of any hybrids. If a Flaris does breed with that of another race, the partner is killed, along with any offspring. The Flaris whom has broken the law is then tortured and humiliated, but not killed since they are a dying race.
Ranks:
Ranks are rather simple to explain. There are four main ranks within the Flaris. You have your Royalty which lead all of the race; your Seers’ which have telepathic abilities one cannot even begin to imagine, your Healers’ which can heal all wounds with a speed amazing to all and with a strength that can hold an army from turning to ashes; and your Warriors’ which fight endless battles and wars all of their lives, something they love and will forever thrive on. Within the Warriors’, there are 3 Levels’. Level 1 are called Soldiers’ and are the lowest in rank and the ones’ thought to be easily discarded if need be. Level 2 are called Generals’ and are treated with a bit more respect than the Soldiers’, not to mention have more control over their powers. The last Level, Level 3, are the Commanders’. They protect the Royal family and lead all battles and wars. They have the right to execute one below them in rank on the spot if they are shown any kind of disrespect.
Status:
As mentioned above, the Flaris are a dying race. They are quickly becoming extinct for several reasons. One is that they are disliked by almost all, though most Dark’s will stand them with a disgusted type of respect. Because of this dislike by others’, they have been hunted down and killed. Another reason is their susceptibility to water. Literally being ‘caught in the rain’ will kill them. And the last main reason for their near extinction is the fact that they refuse to ‘dirty’ their blood with other races.
History:
One of the ancient God’s wished for destruction upon the land so carefully created by the others’. He saw it as a sport, something to be laughed at. And so, from the depths of the volcanoes’ of Hell, the Flaris leapt into the world.
As explained some above, the Flaris becoming extinct has a lot to do with the dislike others’ have for them. They are hated for their bloodthirsty ways and intolerable acts of violence. All Lights’, and a fair majority or Darks’, have worked tirelessly to rid the world of them. However, they refuse to die off and put up a forever fierce and endless battle. Other races’ have fought thousands of years with the hope that the Flaris’ flame would flicker and die out. They have lowered the number of Flaris to a dangerous level that could quickly lead to extinction, but the Flaris refuse to die off. They continue to thrive on the death and destruction around them.
