The silver hatchling toddles down a steep hill, more sliding than walking. The sun strikes her newly formed scales and reflects off in all directions, some rays of light cascading a dark blue or a deep green, and a few of other colors that decorate his silver hide. She reaches the bottom of the hill, she sits down and glances back at her black brother, waiting for him to follo her.

The dark hatchling sits atop the hill, glancing for a way of safe decent. Finally he simply steps out onto the hill and slides down, using all of his body to slow himself. He crashes into his sister at the bottom and then stands up with a grunt. He trudges over to the edge of a cliff and plops down. His sister could explore forever as far as he was concerned. He was more interested in the red rock flowing around the TT. Why did it bubble? ....

The silver snorts and sets off again, leaving her brother behind. She wanted to figure out what this place was, and how it worked. She didn't want to look at it.

(*)not watching the two as if a hawk, but a good cut of her attention was directed to them. Their age was well understood, and she had been throught this almost four times before. Lava was a very interesting substance...bright, bubbly, just plain enticing to a youth....especially when it moved very fast and was everywhere. She was on the look out(*)

The small male sits atop his cliff, watching his sister out of the corner of his eye. He turns away, returning his attention to the bubbling liquid, wondering what it was. His attention purely focused on the bubbly red goo, he loses sight of his sister and interest in her.

She approaches the side of an oozing red hot stream, her attention directed purely at it. Blinking her golden eyes with interest, she reaches out slightly towards one of the larger and close bubble. Before she can touch it, it pops and she jerks back, hissing and snarling. Another bubble explodes and she becomes more adjitated(sp?). Balancing on her hind feet, with help from her tail, her two hands come rather close together, leaving only a space wide enough for a large marble. Her eyes cloud over to a whitish silver and marble sized ball form inbetween her claws. She draws her hands apart and the ball grows large, now visable as a ball of lightning, shooting out sparks in all direction. A bubble before her grows steadily and she hisses darkly. Visously shoving her arms forward, she releases the ball of energy and it makes contact with the bubble. The bubble shudders as the ball slides into it and then implodes sharply, acting like a mini black hole and sucking in a large amount of lava before sealing up. The hatchling stumbles slightly as her eyes return to their golden state and she hisses ahrply, a new thougth flashing into her mind. A warrior does not show weakness or fatigue... Forcing her small silver body to stand properly, she takes several rythmic breaths, calming herself and restoring some energy. She hisses sharply at the place where her bubble hit and slowly backs away. A warrior never turns her back on the enemy... She snarls again, now to tired to move much. Her eyelids sink slowly, as if dragged down by weights. Her legs give way and she collapses onto the ground, a hissing sigh drifting up on the wind as she passes into an exausted sleep.

(*)Having watched the whole ordeal, the southern monarch was quick to the youth's side. She peered over at the creature, still mesmerized and vexed at what this small being had just produced. Very intersting, indeed. But still, the motherly side of her couldn't help but produce the caring simper, as the crimson beast scooped up the child so very delicately. A slow hiss sounded as she headed back towards her lair(*)

A true warrior...

(*)with a rumbling chuckle, her fluent steps took her back towards her dwelling, but her ocules didn't forget her other. With a sided grin, she glanced at her son, and prince(*)

C'mon, Demise. You've had a nice little adventure...now it's time to eat.

(*)with a eneding nod, her liquid figure went on north in the southern confine, her rouge slowly swallowed by the obsidian of the cavern shadows(*)

The male watches his mother carry his limp sister inside and then glances at the imploded bubble. Fasinated, he turn to walk towards, but then thinks better of it and follows the red into the cave.

The hatchling lays limply in her mothers arms, her only movement the gentle rise and fall of her breath and the soft beating of her heart...
