 I tried setting up a chat room for the Northern site so that people could chat, but it was a lot of hard work and in the end I decided that it wasn't worth it. I would still consider doing it but I found the experience confusing, especially trying to set up a chat room using icq- after all, as a volunteer I don't want to have to buy software or need a server. I found I could link to a general ICQ room, but that wasn't acceptable because really I would have liked it to be for polo players only.

I used to host the northern site using msn communities but the chat room didn't work on my macintosh, and people had to join that site to view it, so I switched to geocities.
