Hello everyone,

New Zealand Canoe Polo has been given the opportunity to have this years Inter-regionals (to be held in Christchurch the weekend of 12/13 October 2002)covered by Sky tv.

As you can imagine this would be very exciting for Canoe Polo in New Zealand and is the best publicity the sport would have seen before.

However for this to happen, sponsorship needs to be raised to cover the filming costs. As with other sports, funding is often achieved through Pub Charitiy and Community Trust funds. Therefore what I am asking is for people to help out in putting these grant applications together. [PLEASE DON'T STOP READING HERE]

Putting these grant applications together is not hard and generic proposals could be produced, which will reduce your time even further. The amount of effort and time that you would need to put in is not alot. It does not matter if you have never done a grant application before or from what area of the country you come from.

Please just don't disregard what I am saying and think someone else will do it. This is a great opportunity for New Zealand Canoe Polo and we really need your help because there is not much time left until Inter-regionals.
