Sounds like someone just wants to boost sales of composite paddles

metal is hard! but so are composites!!!

I've seen strength tests that show composites are as hard as metals
(and much harder than the aluminium in paddle tips)

- should composite paddles be banned as well ?!?!

I know - closed cell foam paddles - but some of that stuff can be hard too ???
