The Northern region has mass emailing lists to distribute information to it's members. If you would like to receive this information, then please email
northerncanoepolo-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
This list is moderated. You may send emails to northerncanoepolo@yahoogroups.com but if it is offensive or irrelevant, your post will not be distributed. You must be a member to send information to the list.
To contact the Regional Committee, please email
ncpa_committee@yahoogroups.com
You will thus ensure that every administrative official in the Northern region has access to your information, and the opportunity to contact you should they require information or be able to provide assistance.
If you think that you would like to start your own email list for your region (or hey, how about the country??) then go to this web address:

You can choose the name of your list, invite members, decline applications for membership, decide whether members can post to the group or whether it's just a newsletter that you can control, you can decide if you moderate discussion or just let people send messages straight through.
I highly recommend these methods of communication. You are able to control the information distributed, but the communication is not a one way street. This is one way of ensuring your membership is involved, and it also ensures that the level of information received is not dependant on one individual. You can control the list thru email or from the web. Furthermore, individuals have the opportunity to subscribe or unsubscribe at will, using email, which improves the service you are providing to your members.
