But to answer your question in a seni intelligent way, I think:
Vish is right, how well does it float?
Also, what do you want it for?
Its a pig of a boat, and that doesn't even take into account what the construction quality of it is. BUT, at least it would be your own, you could make sure it had footpegs and a seat, and also that as many holes as possible were stopped up.
If you want to pay $100 bucks for the pleasure, you go for it. I would offer $50 or $75 or see if they'd throw in a deck or something.
It will never be a competitive boat, probably a combat would even cane its arse. BUT it would be yours, it would be cheap and might even float.

You could try it out, and in 6months if you decided to get more serious (after youd used and sbused to to get an absolute bombproof roll with ball and both sides) you could move up to something responsive.
