.x. He accepts the tea, sipping delicately, phrasing his answer carefully. An idle hand lifts to rub his temples; many days on the road have almost ingrained a weariness in him. "She..." he began, thinking of apropriate phrasing. "She is opinionated. Strong-willed, you might say," he replied. "She lacks respect, and has too much attitude to be an apprentice of mine. So I set her a challenge: be a servant to myself, you, or shaeryn, until she can learn the proper meaning of the word respect, and then and only the would I consider her as an apprentoce," he replied, a dry smile flitting across his face, fleeting but present. "She claims she knows the meaning of the word respect, but her actions prove otherwise. 'If I have to be apprenticed to you,'" he continues, mimicing her tone almost perfectly, a talent he has, "'then so be it.'" He grins, then, rising stiffly. "She is cleaning my Tower as we speak. I should probably return; she seems to have only a tenuous acquaintance with domestic work." He bows, as low as was possibly with his stooped and wracked frame, chesnut hair falling about his shoulders at the actions. "Peace be upon you," he says, hobbling carefully back to the Gate and departing. .x.
