Why do you think insurance is the answer to all the sleds being stolen. Think about it. How much does a new sled depreciate in it's first year?, Does your insurance company reimburse you for that? How much is your deductable?, Does your insurance cover that? What about add on equipment such as saddle bags, studs for the track, maybe a graphics kit?, Does your insurance company reimburse you for that? What about your new premiums on the replacement sled (if you can still get someone to sell you insurance), how much more is that? Add up all these out of pocket expenses and you soon realize insurance is not the answer to the theft problem. Apprehension & punishment of the guily parties is the only way this will end.
So everyone who has been victimized, keep posting your info here and if we don't stop the problem at least we'll know where not to go to spend our hard earned cash>
