Enough of all the negativity! OK, so we played a reasonably bad game and yes, it can get frustrating at times when we play like that but there are plenty of positives to be taken from the game as well. Like Em said, Robran's mark was brilliant and he had a fantastic game - a definite plus considering how crucial he is to the side and a good sign for the next four weeks. Besides that, the margin could have been much, much greater at the end but the players toughed it out and almost stole the game. And I know near enough isn't really good enough anymore considering we know what this side is capable of but isn't it better to lose by a small margin after a fightback from 5-6 goals down than to just lay down and lose by 10 goals or more?
Certainly this season has been reasonable disappointing in some respects but considering we lost the first five games it is to the players' and coaches' credit that we are still in a position to claim a finals spot. I'm not saying that this is satisfactory because we all know that this side is capable of challenging for a top four position or better but the situation is far better than it could have been.
Having said that, at least this site is a good place for everyone to vent their frustrations anyway!
