On my 1973 Fastback (FI/Auto), under the rear seat I have 3 relays - one is directly next to the battery, behind the drivers seat (RHD car) and is amodern plastic bodied replacement, the other two are behind the pasenger seat, next to the voltage regulator. One of these is a small square bodied VW part, the other is the larger rectangular VW relay, similar to the one under the dashboard, behind the fuse box.

I have been having lots of trouble with the fuel system and am just wanting to find out what all the components do, to help with diagnosis.
