Subject: Type 3 frame horn bolts

 Having a bit of trouble with the gearbox frame horn bolts. I got a pair off my 70 bug (which came out perfect) but realy struggled to get them into the ends of the frame horns.

Are they different to a bug ?

The subframe, i'm unsure of actual year is an irs'd swing axle one.

I have had the subframe blasted and painted but the threads seem pretty clear. not had any bolts in it before.
