hi,

I've just bought and imported a covin speedster on a 1973 variant chassis into Ireland from the UK. The powers that be have suggested that covin made their own chassis' and supplied them with the speedster kit, hence making the car "new" in whatever year it was put together. For me this has major problems (loss of historic tax, insurance etc) but mainly means I will have to register the car as a 1994.

This is of course horse shite as the car is built off the original cars chassis - anyone know where I could get a covin build manual to disprove their ignorant rantings? Any info on the covin speedster would be helpful as there is nothing on the web (that I can find)
