Subject: Covert to Carb or Carbs

 I have a 1973 type 3 square with a bone stock 1600 dp FI. The FI ECU has totally melted and I am going to have to convert to carbs. I am wondering if there is a way to convert to a single carb but not a progressive one. I would rather have one carb but if i must, i will go the dual route. Everyone says not to use progressive so I wonder what my carb options are at this point. Thanks
