does anyone know why a motor, at idle will make a sorta clanging noise? only time noise will go away is when i rev the motor past 1.5-2k rpm. the 1600 that was originally in there did it, after installing a 1776 long block from scat noise continued. tried welding the fan, quiet for about a day but later continued, changed fan still the same problem! anyone with any kind of solution? please help!
