I went to look at a bus for a mate and whilst I was there I spotted three cars parked at on end of the field. On further inspection I discovered that they were built on beetle floorpans so that was it I was hooked. The guy selling the bay also owned these and so told me all about them…well all he knew. Turns out they are Novas and not the Vauxhall kind so I pointed at the most complete one with groovy finned Wolfrace alloys on and asked how much : ) Well the upshot is I’ve bought one and I have to say that it’s the freakiest piece of 70/80s kitsch I’ve ever owned. Question is…how should I build it stylee wise? I was thinking keep the matt green paint put on some old race inspired stickers to create a “Ropey Looker” Or how about building it in an 80s stylee…Racing red with polished wheels, dice, sun strip and a zoom tube exhaust to create a “Mullet Looker” [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ]
