Hi, I'm new to the forum.
I am interested in purchasing the squareback for sale on the street in front of my house.
I spoke to the owner and he is asking $3900. It LOOKS in very sharp condition. He says he recently replaced the
clutch and starter.
Please post here your thoughts on VW Squarebacks [and this particular year], what relevant isssues they have mechanically, durability, and long distance travel [say random 7 hour drives]. Any advice is much appreciated,
