I agree with what your saying and the idea of a monster engine is fantastic but your missing the point about budgit!!
I'm getting the car welded and painted already and I don't have a bottomless pit of cash, all be it a fair wedge for me. I was only going to build a stocker but have since thought a mild tweeked engine would be nice with the option to go bigger in the future (i.e. Machined case etc).

I will be driving it daily winter or summer so need that exta reiability. A good 1776 would be nice but again too costly to get it how I want.
