Well its been over a year since I have been known to this message board (or should I say "bored") as the masturbate-then-become-tired man. Let me have you know, I am still known to "stroke it" every once and a while, that reminds me the new strokes album is quite a treat. Now on track again, masturbation brings on a whole new meaning when you get to college. There is a certain challenge it waiting for your roommate to leave for that certain allotment of time needed to...well you know what i'm talking about fellas (and yes to the many females who deny the inevitable)...In any respect I would like to thank all of aria, at the time fhg, for dedicating "Get Off" to me. It touched me deeply inside. So here comes VegaFest II. Meant to rock the socks off of VegaFest I, will be held again in everyone's beloved friend Andy Everson's garage. But this is not the same garage folks. After restorations, reconstructions, remodeling, and revampings galore, this garage is truly a splooge in everyone's collective pants. It wasn't just blood, sweat, and tears that went into this endeavor. Think about it here people. Soundboard, stages, subwoofers, stage speakers, monitors, microphones, other audio components i do not know the names to, lights, fog machines, strobe lights, and not to mention here the entire foundation, walls, insulation, and roof in which this monstrosity of rock potential is held. No doubt the cost of this monument to "sticking it to the man" (for all of those who have seen "school of rock") is in upwards of several thousand dollars. This is young Mr. Everson's dream. And the success of this showing could very well be Andy's dream come true. That is if everything goes well. Let me remind to all of those attending this concert to be respectful of the venue and the owners of the house, for without them this would not be possible. This entails that no damage is to be done to the venue by any attendees of the show. Common sense. Also, although it may seem like a good idea to come completely hammered, this may not be the best of ideas. This is not the quest or first avenue or even the xcel center where i would entirely encourage showing up drunk (hell, i might even buy rounds for all of those going to a show with me at any of these places). In a small residential property, drinking could only lead to trouble, and I would suggest to aria or the powers at be that are in charge of crowd control at this show to kick out any drunkards that become too much trouble without refund. (Seriously, high schoolers can go one saturday night without alcohol, take it from me a college student, there are plenty of opportunities in college to drink. (specifically three to four nights a week, or if you so choose 5 to 7 nights a week)) Additionally, to all attendees, do not bitch about paying the cover charge. Bringing back to mind that the garage cost several thousand dollars to become reality. As poor as I am I can dig to the bottom of my penny jar and dig up the few dollars that this show will cost. I am even inclined to go to Mr. Andy Everson himself and offer a small donation out-of-pocket to show my appreciation. Do not feel as though I am a hate monger and do not want all of those in attendance to have a good time. I myself will personally hope to rock out and have a great time, and I suggest to all to do similarly. I mean think about this folks, I am driving over 150 miles (241 km) from Duluth, MN to see this show. I hope this shows in some way I hope to have a bitchin' time at this show. As I bring this post to a close I wish aria and the other bands the best of luck with their performances. And to the christening of the Toybox, I wish it a long and prosperous run with many shows to follow. Thank you for your time. If you have any questions regarding this or any other personal rants I have had in the past, you can reach me at

or look for me on this board in the future. Good day, and see you all saturday night.
