I took a walk around the block on my cigarette break
I've been counting ballets for at least sixteen hours straight
I watched the world as they laughed at our democracy
Why does this crap have to happen to me, yeah

I watched the world as they laugh at our election
Maybe in two weeks we just might know who won
I really don’t care who wins at the end
As long as I don't have to count these votes again

If I throw away votes will you put my tired ass in jail
I don't feel like waiting for any international votes in the mail
I just want to go home to wife, please no
Hand count tonight

You vote for Bush, you vote for Gore,
You relax while I count more and more
They took for granted that at home I have a wife and twins
They must think that I am dead,
We know this is all your fault Jed
I wanna get out of here I'm so sick of Floridians
