I guess i don't have anything much to say, only that if that was what that happened, then i don't blame anyone here for being disappointed. I know i would be a little more than just disappointed and hurt if i were in your shoes, so well, hopefully, you will move past this, and try to look at them as musicians, professional musicians again!
