Subject: KROQ Show Walk-off!!!

Here's the deal: I've toured with a bunch of bands, Candlebox, No doubt, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and others who did these types of shows all the time.

3 Doors Down may not be a bad live band but it's unexcusable and extremely un-professional for them to just walk off the stage like that. It is common practice at radio-sponsored shows and festivals that only the headliner and maybe the next band down, get's a soundcheck. There's just not enough time in the day. Most bands get nothing more than a linecheck which is basically just to verify that everything works. If 3DD tours with a good sound guy and monitor guy, they SHOULD be experienced enough to deal with these situations. They WILL occur again.

Even if the sound does suck, it's better to tough it out and just give a quick apology and move on with the set than it is to bitch about it and walk off the stage. The losers in this situation are always the FANS!

I like this band but in the future I would hope that they'd realize that they need to toughen up a bit and just stick it out. 'Cause when every other band on the bill plays thier full set & 3DD walks out they end up looking like chumps!
