(my puter crashed from a virus... so sorry)

He runs to Bridget's side, and drops beside her. With a painful look in his eyes, he desperatly tries to awaken her, licking her face and laying his head gently on her body.

Gunner tenses as the mare does this, only relaxing when she comes back down.

She drops a reasuring nose to Gunner's back. Drops on her knees and asseses the wounds ... she gets to her feet and gallops off.

Shortly she returns with a bunch of leaves in the mouth.

Not the ones I wanted but they may help.

She presses them to the wounded creature's side to staunch the flow of blood.

He jerks when the horses nose touches him, for he wasnnn't ready for that. He whines, trying to warm her.
