Subject: Playing Serious Basketball Overseas

My name is Jatarra Pryor and I am a junior at a California University ans I play basketball for them. I am a female who has played basketball since I was nine years old. I have won numerous awards from AAU traveling teams and many awards from my highschool, that include awards from Coca Cola Company, the County and the Sun Newspaper as MVP and best athlete. My usual position iss are point guard abd shooting guard. I am very quick, agile and strong. I am 5' 8" tsll and weigh 149 lbs, am very muscular and strong. I have excellent ballhandling skills and can see the whole floor,and was awarded best defensive player in my city and was the top in my state. I have no fear!! I am an excellent defensive player and offensive player abd can score much of the time at will as I attack the basket. In junior college i hit 36 points on the best jubior college in the state in one game. I am 20 years old and I have no children and no ties. I will be graduating from my university next year in 2009. I am interested in trying out for an overseas amateur team during my summer vacation this year, so that I can build on the skills that I already have abd also become familiar with overseas teams. I am determined and optimistic about playing overseas after I graduate from my university next year. As you can see, I am planning far in advance abd doing my research because I plan to do what I love and that is to play basketball overseas. I am definitely a team player and am known for lifting our teams spirits when they are down. I am personable and people oeiented and get along with almost everybody. I am definitely coachable and love learning new moves and strtegies that make me a better player. I know I have a lot to learn and I willing and open to learning anything that will make me a better player.
