hi joe! my friend, jo ann's cat, dickie, can't have catnip because it does make her go crazy, but all six of mine love it. in fact, they choose it out of all the plants they have in their "kitty garden" outside.. they are all little nature spirits! mine just love to roll in it, eat it... it's very safe. catnip tea is given to human children. you can get it fresh in nurseries, or dried at walmart or any grocery store. but of course, sheena would be the final judge if she likes it or not!! they can be quite opinionated, huh? love, b
