"For example, a friend (A),hmmmmm I dont know, lets say gives another friend (B) money, knowing the friend is
struggling. The deed is wonderful, but what is the intent? Lets say they are no longer friends but (A) now expects to be paid
back by (B)...having expected gratitude. You get the idea.
Now lets say friend (A) sends loving intent for friend (b) highest good. (A) does not give (B) money for this reason. Or lets
say (A) doesnt have the money so sends loving intent thru prayer and love."

Hi Steph, with all respect due to the shining angel that you are, this discourse sounds very rational and too "computerized", too much like a business deal with spirit, as far as my personal taste goes. Just feeling a sense of basic warmth and basic sympathy towards another would cut short all these mind rationalization about goodness. Basic warmth towards another has not to prove itself in any of both ways ... usually it is felt between A and B, and comes out right for both protagonists whatever the action. That's all there is to it. Thank goodness grace stands out by itself, without further statements about it.
Probably what you describe has to do with the actual struggles to get out of karmic situations (giving and then expecting something back being a typical old-time karmic entanglement) but good to point it out, as this is probably how many people keep the "accounting" of their spiritual or material ego (highly suspicious, in both cases) !!

good wishes for all that to get cleared within, love

Gabrielle
