Maybe you can try to install and use the AOL software. Don't they send their CD's to every address in america? You can put that on you laptop and try the free tral of AOL for a month. Does the laptop have a modem? Then you will be able to download anything off the net and store it on your laptop. Maybe your current ISP, the one you have with that iopener box, will send you software to use on your laptop to connect to them. Or maybe not. Once you get use to your laptop you probably will discontinue the iopener and just use the laptop for all your internet connection needs. There are other ISP's cheaper than AOL.
