He turned around in surprise as Khaz came up behind looking pround. Skop felt shame fall over him. At the mention of the hunt the excitment revealed the foolishness he had done over hunger and now that they were hunting, he felt very silly.

Instead of walking proudly as a Puntar he strayed behind somewhat. He felt the spirit of the hunt inside him but kept his tail low in shame. His head also drooped and he didn't look up until he caught up with the others. Kipcha had just finished talking, and he sat where he was looking the other way. The wind blew in his face making his eyes sting, but he caught the scent of lera on the wind and he stood immediatly.

He stood erect ears forward, tail high, the puntar inside forgetting his shame as the varg would soon find their food. The snow was deep but he did not care for he would run through it some how.

" Do you smell them. The Lera are near!" He didn't realized how much darker it was as evening fell around them and the snow whipped up to.
