Back in 1994 we had those games in Norway, Lillehammer. Bath hour in Norwegian schools

Each saturday was bath day at the school I attended. The boys went down to a separate bath area in the lower part of the buildning. We attended school also on saturdays.

There we had to strip naked and go into a bathroom. We stood in small tubs and had to wash all our body. The uncloading and bath were supervized by an elderly women which apparently only had this as her occupation at the school.

She used to teach us how to wash ourself properly. I do not think this washing procedure was mandatory, but was a relict from former times where not all children had proper opportunities to take abath at home. But we liked it and all attended.

The bath for the girls was at the other end of the building, and boys used to spy on the girls through a half-open winow. The window was inside a fence that we used to climb over.

In the time since Christmnas Norway has also been struck by an allarming number of smaller fires with deadly outcome. The amount of smaller accidents of other types with deadly outcome is also allarmingly high in this country. In addition is the Norwegian population one of the most disease-ridden in the whole western world. The truth about Norway is very different from the glorious picture this coubtry has managed to create about itself and that most foreigners believe in. If anything can go wrong, it goes wrong with a high probablility in Norway, and it hits Norwegians as well as visitors from other countries in Norway.

An experience at a medical spa

As a teenager I has a summer job in a medical spa in Oslo Norway. My job was to prepare the baths that the clients had ordered and to tidy, and do some of the simpler bodily services. The clients used to walk around naked, but with a towel around the hip area that was taken away for the baths and treatments. Most treatments, like massages, comprized the whole body except the genitals.

The area had a central corridor with treatment room at each side, whith the doors mostly open all the time. One room usually had the door closed and was mostly unused.

But one day in an idle moment when I walked along the corridor, the door was open. At a table in the small room lay a man on his side with bare bottom pointing towards the entrance and with his legs flexed up. One of the therapists was giving him an enema. He stood holding the nozzle inside his rectum with one hand and holding the container with the fluid up in the air with the other harm. The activity was so blatantly exposed that I was stuck by surprize.

The next time I came, nearly half an hour later, the man sat on a toilet in the same room, still with the door open, while the therapist said "just sit on". Apparently the man wa badly constipated.

In Norway we have a more relaxed attitude towards nakedness that in some other places, and at that time even more relaxed than now.
