Date Posted: 19:36:10 01/18/06 Wed "Many modern dog fighters tend to be impressed with "brainstormers," or dogs that are hyper and dog agressive, not realizing that many of the gamest dogs that ever lived were quite comfortable with other dogs." [end of quote] Colby's Book of The American Pit Bull Terrier, Louis B. Colby - 1997. This is where it all began, late 1800's, through early 1900's. From the late 50's through the 60's prove to be a matter of survival for most game lines. From the mid 60's onward deterioration of the old blood lines is set in motion at a rapid pace. The "Pit Bull" is highlighted more than ever as a "gambling tool" with no real consequence to its future existence nor breeding.
