Don't criticize me and what I do with my dogs. I don't think we know each other so obviously our communications will be limited. Morgan has decent stock. I can't agree crossing NORROD blood into OFRN and calling it OFRN.Some of the Wilder / Trumpler stuff is up to suspect, basically because of the fact that a lot of those breedings should have never happened. Some didn't and are up to controversey and doubt. Both in pedigree and quality. I think in these modern times it would be safe to say no one has OFRN in the correct sense and understanding of the term.It is true that way back in some pedigrees of "Red Nose Families" they trace back to Old Hemphill breedings etc. But no blood was ever preserved to continue those lines up to this present time. No matter how many times the % show a certain purity in line or blood that still will not make it OFRN. Certainly "quality" would be number one concern and the "honesty" of the pedigree for at least 10 generations as well. Even my dogs are based on a DOG that shows some OFRN but the modern day representation and pedigree show it as a OFBA COPPERHEAD dog bred down from Wilder's Red Satan. A new verison or result of selective breeding and cull. They are not OFRN even if some show Wilder's Red Satan 72X in 10 generations. That is the foundation core, but the end result is a manipulation of genes and the ability to pass to the next generation positive traits. Today, the only thing that confirms OFRN influence is color. Deep Game is missing in many Red Nose Families that have taints of OFRN influence in pedigree. Level of intelligence is also average. Also Red is recessive. So with that said and based on many years of breeding neglect, the OFRN is now gone in the true sense of the term.
