>Frenchmen?

No, this was many many years before Jake got those TWO dogs. Also remember the two dogs Jake got, was a very limited example of Bob Hemphill dogs. Best? Not even close!

>If all of Jake Wilder's dogs were for sale and that's
>why they were bred, where are the good ones?

Good in the manner of Game?, hell yes! Pitdogs, few and far between.
When they were crossed is only time I saw anything talked about from those lines having any kind of quality for this. The best person to talk to about the true performance of Jake's whole yard is Tom Brown then it might be understand why they didn't stay partners.

>If there are no Hemphill dogs that were good, why did
>Bob Hemphill advertise "gamest to ever live" when
>referring to the Red Nose family he had?

I guess you finally trip up my memory. LOL I thought his add said "Gamest ever bred."
What Bob sold and what Jake sold from Jake's TWO dogs were light years apart.

>Why do you place Hemphill before many of your dogs
>names Like Norrod's Hemphill Danger?

Same reason why we place Iron in from of our dogs. To easy remember what was dominate in the bloodline. lol

>If the Hemphill dogs have no wins or any credit of
>worth, why all the hoopla about having it at any
>certain percentage or even breeding it?

I didn't say Hemphill. Please stay focused. I said WILDER!
I personally have no hoopla about it. Hell I don't peddle it. 2 pups and one prospect in 14 years isn't a hoopla in my book. I guess you will have to ask the people who does have a hard on for the bloodline.
I personally think if it is bred by crossing it right, someone might be able to hoopla about it...

>Why do some fellows who own some of your dogs believe
>that you saved the Hemphill bloodline, especially the
>Old Family Red Nose.

Saved the Hemphill? Damn I don't know. I never made the claim. Hemphill? Maybe because of our culling method? Or the association to the better ones from the bloodline? I don't know for sure. I don't like to speak for others, I guess the best persons to ask is them.
As for the Old Family Red Nose strain maybe because I have posted on my website front page "One of the most recognized top producers of the Old Family Red Nose in History"?
Personally I'm not interested in debating how many champions and grand champions I've produced compared to others unless someone is trying to deny them!

>What establishes the term Old Family Red Nose when
>applied to a red nose dog?
>
>FigTreeJohn

A dog which can be traced back to stock which has a fair amount of the old Irish Old Family Red foundation stock in it.
For example, the Old Family Red Nose Registry will require at 25% known OFRN bloodline for single registration. I believe this is for keeping the gene pool safe to breed.
I don't think tight breeding like inbreeding is for novice breeder but everyone has to be a breeder now days for the bucks.
