Just talking about how one views his or her dog as something special meaning game.Its pretty obviouse that in order to come to that concluseion one has to break the law.Yet there are people out there that act as if their invinceable to the fact that there are eyes that watch these boards and take down information that can indeed make life misserable for the breed and oneself. With that said here is some facts that are indeed history. There was indeed a time that it was overlooked to fight ones dogs and for those area's that did not overlook it a a slap on the hand.Now a felony. But reading the many boards people still don't get it. Its seems like bashing ones dog or bitch is something that seems to be enjoyment for some. First let me say I donot have any dogs at this time. I donot know it all and neither does anyone else. Telling others not to breed to a certain stud or bitch is wrong as everyone does things for a reason. Now the wake up call- For those that have one or more of the breed think for one moment belief the pedigree on the dog is 100% perfect. Wake up there is nobody that can say without a shadow of a doubt that they know for sure. Do todays breeders really believe in the fact that those that started bloodlines that are popular today only bred game to game.If you do your so far off base as the old timers bred curs and cold dogs and those dogs produced some dogs that many are proud to see in thier dogs pedigree. Half a life time with these dogs and time meeting or talking to those for the most part are long gone now yet their names appear in the bloodlines they produced. Again let me say this I nor anyone else knows it all.But after one spends as much time with this breed one does indeed learn the truths of how a cur or cold dog produced a bloodline or a super dog. Its was said when I myself was young and did not know the ways of those old dog men that they kept things under wrap. The things they learned were guarded. It was said a genious could indeed produce and idot and an idot could produce a genious. Therefore one cannot say that what they view as a cold or a curr cannot produce a game dog. And again I'll take a bashing as in order to find out if ones charge is all they say it is they have to do the illegal thing. Today is not the time for finding out this answer as today is the time to make sure the breed exsists for years to come as there are many that want to see them extinct. never say never that any dog can produce a world beater and never say never that a world beater cannot produce a cur a flop,a cold dog,a worthless bloodline. Those who talked the talk and walked the walk know what I'am saying and they also know the value of such a dog. Not to make a list but some of the dogs that are becomeing a bashers dream have and will continue to produce a fantastic dog at one time or another. I know from sitting and listening to those that are gone how some of the heavy hitters were produced. For those that look down on the dogs with a high % of what was said to be old family rednose blood take another look and study the pedigrees of past dogs and bloodlines. Ones eyes will surely open wide. Just like when they learn about what produced what it will come as a shock. But history is just that and its to many rippley's belief it or not per say. Some of the dogs being bashed for what they produced would be surprized as to what they really produced. So for those takeing a bashing it comes with the turf. Stick around thirty or more years and one would learn of the truths and falses. Just because a pedigree says this or that does not guarantee that the dogs in that pedigree are truely bred as said. One of the most famous breeders and well respected made a trade with another well known breeder,he traded a dog that is in most pedigrees today and the one he recieved had never produced a litter of pups as she was sterile. BUT WHEN SHE CAME INTO HEAT IT WAS SAID SHE PRODUCED A LITTER,BUT FOR THOSE IN THE KNOW IT WAS COMON KNOWNLEDGE THAT THERE WAS NO WAY SHE COULD HAVE DONE SO YET IF ONE LOOKS AT THE PEDIGREES TODAY ONE WOULD INDEED SEE SHE WAS SAID TO PRODUCE AND PRODUCE WELL. I'am nobody but someone that wanted to know the truth of the dogs I bred,and fed and cleaned up after. If you want to know for sure what your breeding do as others have done long before you (go by the first three generations) and no matter what one calls their dog its yours and you choose to feed and pick up after it and as long as your content the bashing on the bloodline one choose will be an on going thing. If one only knew the truth.What really hurts is many that produced the great bloodlines of today donot get the credit they truly deserve. I thought of writeing a book but that was before I learned the truth and falsehoods of the dogs past and present. By doing so it would be like turning the world upside down. And even letting out the truth one would still deny the facts. Again if one does not want to bring the heat upon oneself watch what one says and does,because your not invinceable or invisable belief it or not. Thankyou to Rosie the one that keeps this board going as the moderator. Perhaps just maybe this board will indeed be around for a few more years to come,hopefully the breed will also be around also. I want to thank Rosie for takeing the board over and if one can indeed help her do so as this board was to find the truth and falses of the breed. And most of all thankyou to a friend and well respected breeder MIKE AND DAN NORROD,THEY GOT THIS OFF THE GROUND AND ITS STILL GOING. AND NO MATTER WHAT, THEY ARE REAL AND WALKED THE WALK AND TALKED THE TALK AND AND HAVE SPENT AND AS FAR AS I KNOW STILL PRODUCEING THEIR BLOODLINE.
